At Topaz, the atmosphere is shaped not only by the interior, but also by the ever-changing light of the Bosphorus. The lighting design was conceived not to create a sharp distinction between the interior and the city beyond, but to establish a natural flow that unites two distinct atmospheres into a single, seamless experience.

As the soft tones of sunset gradually give way to the rhythm of the city at night, the interior lighting quietly follows this transition. Layers of light complement the view without overpowering it, while carefully controlled contrasts create a balanced relationship between the warm ambiance inside and the cool silhouette of the city beyond. In this way, the Bosphorus becomes more than a view—it becomes a living layer that completes the identity of the space.

Throughout the restaurant, the lighting language was designed not to direct the eye toward specific focal points, but to preserve the natural depth of the panorama. Every level of illumination contributes to a shared rhythm that enhances the user experience, allowing the interior and the city to be perceived not as separate entities, but as continuous parts of the same atmosphere.
