SUNDIA HOTEL

"Where light follows the horizon."

Every hotel has its own identity. That identity is defined not only by its architecture, but also by the way it feels after sunset.

In this hotel project located in Fethiye, Muğla, light was conceived not as an element that competes with the architecture, but as an invisible layer of design that complements the natural rhythm of the space. The lobby, restaurant, spa, and social areas were each designed to preserve their own distinct atmosphere, while the delicate balance between light and shadow became the guiding principle throughout the project.

The objective was not to make every surface equally visible, but to reveal the materials, textures, and volumes that define the architectural character through carefully controlled contrasts. While the spaces live in harmony with natural daylight throughout the day, they transform after sunset into a calmer, more refined, and more inviting environment, offering a distinctly different experience.

In this project, light was regarded not merely as a technical necessity for visibility, but as an invisible design material that quietly guides the user experience, shapes the memory of the space, and deepens the character of the architecture.
