At DAP Pendik, light connects the different scales of urban life, from the active street level to the residential volumes rising above it. Rather than treating each building as an individual object, the lighting creates a continuous rhythm across the development, allowing the project to be perceived as a whole after dark.

At street level, cafés, shops, entrances, and landscape areas form the most active layer. Here, light stays closer to people, defining circulation and gathering points while creating a natural flow between commercial and social spaces. As the buildings rise, the lighting becomes quieter and more controlled.

Across the façades, illuminated lines emphasize selected architectural edges, while balconies and windows create a softer, irregular rhythm. The contrast between these layers gives the residential blocks depth without turning the façades into uniformly lit surfaces.

Within the landscape, smaller points of light guide movement between buildings and create more intimate pockets for gathering and rest. This shift in scale establishes a balance between the energy of the city and the atmosphere of residential life.
